Mixed media high relief in copper, bronze, stucco and acrylic. It is work number zero, the first work commissioned by Paola Butali, for her home in Milan, an icon of a particular, transformative moment in her life. Even then Paola had art in her heart and, in nuce, the project of the sculpture park at Cerreta. In 2012 the work was restored in its copper parts.
Alba Folcio
She was born in Milan in 1956. After graduating in literature in 1980, she resumed her art studies at the Superior School of Communication and Visual Arts of Castello Sforzesco. Since then she has been experimenting in her own studio-laboratory with metalworking, the use of earths, color papers, and light. He currently lives and works in Mondonico, a place of art and nature in the hills of Alta Brianza where he continues his research.
He has been exhibiting since 1987, and his works can be found in numerous
private and public collections.
